Halloween Night

Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween, Everyone!
The kids are so excited for their last fall festival and trick or treating tonight.
I am so excited that it is Jasmine's first Halloween. :)
She has her own little treat basket, even though she won't be getting any candy.

These pictures were taken in her new hair chair. The Bumbo was becoming a hazard as she would twist around to see what I was doing. So I bought her a booster that I strap to a bench. It happened to come with a doll booster that attaches. So now Baby can get her hair done too!
I straddle the back of the bench and use the ledge to lay our her hair supplies. It worked so well this morning as I took her style out, moisturized, and detangled her hair for her Halloween headband. The seat belt kept her tight and still and the tray of toys and doll kept her preoccupied so she wasn't trying to grab her combs and spray bottle like she would do in the bumbo. The chair is also portable so we can always have a hair chair/high chair wherever we travel.
Jasmine loves her new hair chair and her first Halloween!!

Annual Boo Bash 2011

Our pediatric dentist had their annual Boo Bash this morning. We love this event so much because it is really well done with tons for the kids to do...all for free AND it is a candy-free event since the dentist office hosts it!
Billy had to rehearse for church worship, so I was on my own with 4 kids.
It went really well which was a relief!

This teenager and I had a good laugh because she said her one year old brother is named Jayden and her 13 year old sister is named Jasmine!!

Tons of candy-free prizes!
Pony rides

The best little petting Zoo with cups of food for each kid to feed the animals!

And bounce houses!
Jasmine must have known Mommy was outnumbered, cause she hung out in her stroller perfectly content for an hour and a half!

Face painting!
Vivi chose a black cat but it didn't turn out right so the artist did a ghost.

Isaac spent most of his time at the DJ booth doing all the dances.
He won a set of race cars on a Hokey Pokey dance contest.
The kids sat on a firetruck and rode a train.

This little girl was the cutest pirate I saw!
They took all her hair and puffed it through holes in the hat! LOVED it!!

And my very lucky child who wins every single cake walk we have ever entered him in, won a raffle prize!! $20 to Main Event (bowling and arcades).
He also brought home $20 to Genghis Grill (Mongolian build-your-own bowl) that he won in a drawing at school! We ate there for free friday night because they were doing free kids meals for Halloween weekend plus we had our winning giftcards.
Woohoo for Isaac!!!
