Martin Luther King Jr. Parade in Dallas

We went into Dallas to attend the parade today. We stood on the street as a couple of the only white people in a crowd of thousands. We got lots of stares from all the little kids around us but we smiled at them, chatted it up, and had fun!!

This street filled completely up.
Billy was packed in like a sardine and I was thankful the kids and I were secure in our chairs!
Superheros! We saw an African American Batman, Green Lantern,
Captain America, and two Super Women!
Jayden and Vivi loved it!!!

The marching bands were very fun!

Love it!! In Indy it is usually ridiculously cold during MLK festivities, so I want Little Man to be a little older. We also have Indy Black Expo and the Circle Center Classic for us to attend (although he was sick this year during Expo and we were out of town during the Classic). I love to hear your experiences!!

And totally random, but I would love love LOVE to see a "this is our daily schedule" post :). I am struggling with one, which makes me think there is no way I could handle four, so I'm just curious what a typical day looks like for you!!

Oh, and maybe a "disciplining as a mother of four" post!

I will leave you be now :)

Rachel~ Yes we love to go to this stuff. I will look into doing a daily schedule post but the discipline post I did a couple months ago on here with some really negative feedback. So if you want any specific tips or have questions about discipline, email me cause I will not be discussing that on the blog anytime soon!
