Update

So here is Vivi passed out in her room an hour and a half after we put her to bed! You can see she spent her time emptying toy bins. For her first week in her bed, she would fall asleep where ever. She wised up later in the week and would find a pillow! The past couple of days she has been falling asleep in the bed. The hard part has been her getting up and opening the door. Last night we didn't put the gate up and spent about ten minutes making surprise visits into the room telling her firmly to get back in her bed. This seemed to work well because it only took her about 20 minutes to fall asleep. Woohoo! She was waking up anywhere between 4:30-5:30, but the last two mornings were 6:30 and 7:00 so it seems we are progressing well in that area too. We will see. Most transitions are an uphill battle in childhood but we are getting used to fighting the battles, and making sure Mom and Dad win!
On that note, we were at lunch yesterday and there was a couple of families that sat next to us with kids ranging from 6-10. They were beasts! The kids were wild, sassy, wouldn't eat there food. They ran their moms ragged, as they made empty threat after empty threat(the dads just sat there and ignored it!) Billy and I looked at our two peaceful young-ins enjoying their meals and said a little prayer of thanksgiving! Going out in society really makes you appreciate your own little monsters!

This week is a crazy busy week. Today, Billy's parents are coming in to celebrate Isaac's b-day. He turns four this Wed!! They bought him a bike but the sad thing is it is raining so I don't know if they are going to get much time to watch him ride.
Our theme at school this week is Texas so I have several projects for my class to do tomorrow. Then Wed, we are taking Isaac out for his b-day breakfast, I am taking pumpkin muffins to school for the class, and that night is Awana and Bible study both of which I have to bring stuff.
Thursday is Rodeo Day at school, complete with a pancake breakfast and a petting zoo/pony rides.
Friday is Isaac's four year check-up and flu shot- yikes!
Saturday is his party.
And Sunday I will be resting, and posting pictures...so stay tuned!
