I spent the week getting all the Christmas decor up in time for my Cookie Exchange.
Our years of Santa photos are on display.
The kids bedroom trees are up and decorated.
And they have been enjoying their manger scene and box of Christmas stories.
For the party, we did a fire...it was so warm and cozy on a chilly, rainy night.
The kitchen was ready for the display of treats.
Jasmine took a late nap, so instead of being asleep like I planned...she was awake and ready to party dressed in her Christmas cookie pj's!
Such yumminess!
I set up a coffee and hot chocolate bar.
We also drank a cranberry orange pineapple punch and egg nog.
The ladies gathering around introducing their treats to everyone else.
Everyone took home a box full to share with their families.
It was a lot of fun. Several friends stayed past midnight!
We just couldn't stop talking. :)

That Veggie Tales nativity is amazing. I am sad that I don't have any littles to play with it this year. Last year I brought it to school so my preschool and kindergarten kids could enjoy it. :)
It looks like the exchange was a total success! What a neat way of adding some variety to holiday treats.
I love the decorations. We are just getting ours up...tonight in fact. It's a chore I look forward to. :)
Blessings!

I had a great time, Laurie! Thanks for inviting me. Your other friends were all very nice and fun to talk to. My cookie box was empty within 1 day!
Man, I would have been all over this if I lived closer to you! Looks like fun! Although I can't have sweets, I would have cheated just for your cookies!!!
I had a GREAT time! As always you hosted a great event! James is still munching on treats. :)
