We have been able to enjoy lots of time with friends and family this week. One of my college best friends comes to Texas every year from Kansas to visit her family. They were able to stop in for a visit. That is a lot of kids around that table!!
Then we went to Terrance's house for our family Christmas. Maile baked lots of yummy treats and the kids exchanged little gifts. We all had a lot of fun.
Yesterday, my sister came over with her three for another gift exchange. This paper was flying and the kids were so excited for their surprises. All the cousins got along beautifully.
It was a nice time.
This is the first Christmas that Jasmine "gets it". She is loving all of our traditions. The lights, the baking, the wrapping of sibling gifts... our fun elf who makes his appearance every morning in a hilarious new way.
She made a lot of crafts at school that show the story of Jesus' birth so she says "mother Mary" and "Daddy Joseph". It is so adorable. She can even sing her little version of The Little Drummer Boy.
I am looking forward to Christmas Eve tonight at church and when we get home. I have decided to start a new tradition where the siblings all sleep in the same room. So that will be fun for them!
