Isaac's 6th Birthday!

Isaac's Carnival party was a HUGE hit!
Some parents told me their kids said it was the best b-day party they had ever been to!
Balloons up the walkway.
The guests entered the party through the gate.

Gift table.
When they entered the backyard, they were greeted by me in this ticket booth.
I gave them a row of tickets and a bag with their name on it to keep them in, and told them how the party would go.

Then they went behind me to the ticket booth where Brandi snapped their pictures for a thank you card I will be putting together (a collage of each child's photo booth pics).

Some went off to the bounce house right away!
How cool is this?!!
Others began one of the 8 games we had set up against the fences.

I am SO grateful to my friends and Billy's family who all pitched in to run the party. Without them it could not have been done! Jen and Jay and my sister in law Beth ran games, Billy's mom ran the tattoo booth, his dad and Aunt Virginia worked tirelessly in direct sun at the refreshment stand, his other Aunt prepared all the hot dogs, refilled the lemonade pitcher, and trouble shot in the kitchen, and Brandi did the photo booth and helped me dispense prizes. Not to mention all the prep work, decorating, and cleaning up. This party was truly a TEAM effort!
(And thank you to my friends who took great photos, keep sending them to me!!)

We had a prize table set up for the end of the party.

Clown noses

Each prize had a ticket value.

The kids cashed tickets in for refreshments.

They ate hot dogs, popcorn, cotton candy, and lemonade.

Cotton Candy!

Hot dogs!

After an hour, we lined all the kids up for the "dunking booth"

Which was water balloons thrown at Isaac's Dad!! Billy's sister soaked him at the end! Even though he looks totally annoyed, he said the water felt good in the heat! The kids LOVED this game!

Cupcakes!

A dozen "snow cone" cupcakes!

The kids were all very anxious to get a cupcake, the snow cone ones were the most popular.

Singing Happy Birthday to Isaac!

A few classmates hung around wanting to see Isaac open their gifts.

Here he is with two of his buds, his best friend on the right.

These aren't even all the gifts he got. He opened family gifts the night before! Wow. Other than the toy aisle at Target, I have never seen this many boy toys in one place. Thank you to all of you and your wonderful selections! He loves it all!
