Holiday Catch Up

Once again the Holiday season is upon me and I am way behind on the blogposts!
So here are two collages to catch you up on our October and November happenings. Then we can get on to the good stuff which is all of the pictures I have been taking in December. This year has been a bit of a blur but I am working very hard to just BE in the moments with my kids.

Our past two holiday celebrations were perfection.

Halloween Decorating

A couple of weeks ago I got our house ready for one of our favorite family holidays. Candy, costumes, colder weather...who wouldn't love it? Our children look forward to Halloween every year.

Because of our Christian beliefs we choose to not decorate with anything using skulls, devils, zombies, vampires, witches,
 or blood and death.

That does not leave much when you are wanting to be festive.
Spiders, bats, and rats... along with jack o lanterns work just fine. Good thing we love black and orange.

My black furniture lends really well to this time of year.

Here is the pumpkin I decorated for our porch.
Next weekend we will peel off the stickers and carve this bad boy.

Football/Cheer 2014

Jayden and Vivi are wrapping up their
football and cheer season for the Cougars.
We were blessed that Vivi was able to cheer for
Jayden's first year of football.
I have lots of plans for these two.
I see years of Varsity football/cheer in their future. :)

The greatest thing about our organization is that our home games take place at the big fancy highschool stadium and we get Homecoming. My love tank was full this weekend.

I decorated my very first parade float.

Mums and Garters are a BIG deal in Texas!

The boys escorted the girls across the field at halftime.

I set it up that our neighbor Junior and Jayden would escort Vivi.

We won the game. woohoo.
And I could not resist a little photo shoot of my Cuties on the stadium grounds afterwards.

Good thing they are quite used to having their picture taken...

Here are some more random shots of our Cougar season.
